The event was a historical coming together of the three musketeers of the APC, namely; Chief Great Ogboru, Dr Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali, the leader APC Delta North and the Mother of the party in the state and Sen Ovie Omo Agege,  who played host, at his country home Orogun. The purpose was to say thank you and appreciate the bravery put up by the candidates of the APC at the controversial January 6th 2018 Council Polls, in Delta state. 

The host Sen Omo Agege, noted that he decided to call the meeting because for the first time in the history of elections in Delta state, an opposition rattled the so called ruling party (PDP) and they had to resort to stealing ballot boxes as they could not have won in a free and fair election. He thanked them for the show of bravery and supported the candidates with financial compensation.

Dr Marian Nneamaka Ogoh Ali, aka Eyin Kpakpando, the leader of APC Delta North Senatorial zone, in her good will message appreciated the host describing him as “a man of integrity, who has been tested, trusted, a Distinguished Senator and philanthropist per excellence, a man whom when he says seat you should just seat. Unlike Okowa whom when he says seat you should run and when he says run you seat. ”

Adding that ‘’We have come today to celebrate our brave hearts of the APC, our gallant soldiers all the Councillors and Chairmen of councils who stood  that day chest out and faced the ruthless Okowa's army. We salute you. You may think you were not victorious but i say to you, you were very victorious. ‘’

Kpakpando described ‘’Okowa and his army as cowards. Shakespeare once said cowards die a thousand times before their real death. But villains face their death once.‘’

Dr Marian Ali,  noted that “we shall conquer, we have already overcome. We must come together and behave as one family. Lets all be focused. We must take over Osadebe House. No going back. Its a dream that must be actualised.”

Dr Marian Ali, noted that the excesses of the PDP had gone beyond redemption and it was time to sweep the PDP out of existence in the State. She supported the candidates too. “We expect total overhaul. Today's event is very unique, its the beginning of a new dawn. Be calm, peaceful and law abiding.” She also supported the candidates.

In his speech the people's General, H.E. Great Ogboru, who had his wife on his entourage, called on APC members in the state to join hands and build the party in Delta.

He sang an old primary school tune the remixed version “when i remember  2003 water commot for my eyes. It was sang to stress the point on the huge injustice meted on him and he said never again.” He also supported the candidates. He seeks to replace Okowa at Osadebe house come 2019.

The event attracted all the major important big names of the APC in Delta state.
